WaveMUN x HTSMUN 2025

Welcome to WaveMUN x HTSMUN - A collaboration joining online and in-person Model UN Conferences together!

This Conference will be held on November 29th, 2025. . It will run from 6:45 AM to 1:30 PM New York City Time, with breaks in between.

What does this collaboration entail?

• WaveMUN and HTSMUN are teaming up to bring a never-before seen experience to Model United Nations
• Typically, HTSMUN is an in-person only conference hosted in Ontario, Canada
• However, for their 2025 Conference, both WaveMUN and HTSMUN are teaming up to connect both in-person delegates with online delegates!
• As usual, HTSMUN will continue to host their in-person conferences
• WaveMUN will host two online committees, listed below, on Zoom
  • The JCC committee (CRISIS) will allow online delegates to participate in the in-person committee, and vice versa!
    • Online JCC delegates will join the Zoom call and will be projected to the HTSMUN delegates in-person to see
    • In-Person JCC delegates will attend the conference at the Holy Trinity School in Canada and will get to connect with others both at the school and on the Zoom call
  • The DISEC committee (General Assembly) will function as a standard online MUN session entirely on Zoom
    • There will be no in-person collaboration during debate for DISEC

WaveMUN x HTSMUN will offer the following committees:

• JCC CRISIS - Collaborating with in-person delegates at HTSMUN for a few hours
  • Star Wars - Addressing the Separatist Movement
  • CRISIS updates will be posted as the conference progresses
• DISEC General Assembly - Standard online MUN committee for those wishing for an introductory experience
  • Addressing the Role of State-Sponsored Militias in Escalating Conflicts
  • Tackling the Illicit Arms Trade
  • DISEC delegates will vote on one of these two topics to debate on during the committee

• 1 ​​Best Position Paper
• 2 Honorable Mentions
• 1 Outstanding Delegate
• 1 Best Delegate
• (These numbers are subject to change to appropriately fit the committee's size)
