About

A Better World

Welcome to the World Affairs Model United Nations, an immersive platform where diplomacy meets innovation. Our conference is designed to bring together bright minds from across schools, colleges, and universities to engage in thought-provoking debates, craft practical solutions, and experience the true spirit of international cooperation.

Throughout two dynamic days, delegates will step into the shoes of world leaders, policymakers, and diplomats, representing nations in simulated United Nations committees. With a range of specialized councils, from the high-stakes UN Security Council to the collaborative DISEC, participants will tackle global issues that shape our shared future.

At WAMUN I , we believe in making diplomacy accessible and rewarding.

That’s why free participation certificates will be awarded to all delegates, and exceptional performers will be honored with Best Delegate, High Commendation, and Special Mention awards.

More than just debate, our conference is an opportunity to sharpen negotiation skills, develop public speaking confidence, and expand your network with like-minded individuals passionate about change. Whether you’re a seasoned MUNner or a first-time delegate, this experience promises to be both challenging and inspiring.

Step forward. Speak up. Shape the future.

Welcome to WAMUN I.
