Action cures fear.

VianuMoot 2027 is a three-day international moot court competition taking place on 26–28 March 2027 in Bucharest, Romania, bringing together students from middle school to university for an immersive experience in legal argumentation, public speaking, critical thinking and teamwork.

Participants will take part in moot court committees, each simulating a judicial proceeding based on a specially prepared legal case. Throughout the conference, delegates will analyse cases, develop legal strategies, prepare arguments, deliver oral pleadings and respond to questions from the judging panel.

The conference will begin with an Opening Ceremony featuring the VianuMoot Secretariat, invited guests, institutional partners and supporters, followed by committee sessions. Saturday will feature extended committee sessions, coffee breaks, networking opportunities and social interactions with other participants. The conference will conclude on Sunday with the final sessions and Closing Ceremony, where outstanding individual and team performances will be recognised.

Beyond the academic competition, VianuMoot aims to create an inclusive community where young people interested in law can develop practical skills, meet like-minded students and build lasting connections. Participants will also receive an Official Certificate of Participation, while outstanding performances will be recognised through awards.

Applications will open soon. Follow VianuMoot for updates regarding registration, participation fees, accommodation and further conference details.
