Youth will shape the world.

SFMUN is the first Model United Nations ever organized at Sami Frashëri High School, and also the first public school MUN in Tirana. This conference was created with the goal of bringing students together to explore peacebuilding, diplomacy, and the challenges our world faces today. We want to give young people a space where they can think critically, speak openly, and understand how international cooperation really works.

Whether you’ve attended MUNs before or are just starting, SFMUN is designed to feel welcoming and supportive. Our hope is that every delegate feels comfortable sharing their ideas, learns something new, and grows throughout the experience. You will have the chance to practice public speaking, negotiation, teamwork, and problem-solving—skills that matter both inside and outside committee rooms.

But SFMUN is more than just debate. It’s a place to meet new people, build connections, and become part of a motivated community of young leaders. We want every delegate to leave feeling more confident, more informed, and more inspired about their role in the world.

We are excited to welcome you to SFMUN in Tirana, and we look forward to sharing this experience with all of you.

The participation fee is 1200 lekë (12 euros), which helps us cover materials and basic organizational costs so we can offer a smooth and well-prepared conference for everyone.
