RUA MUN 2026 — Conference Description

Welcome to RUA MUN 2026 — where history is no longer written. It is rewritten.

RUA MUN is an international online Model United Nations conference bringing together students from different backgrounds for an experience built around diplomacy, creativity, leadership and fast-paced decision-making.

For our inaugural conference, we're moving beyond the traditional committee room and aboard the RMS Titanic.

🚢 Committee: Crisis Committee — Titanic
📅 Date: 26 September 2026
🌐 Mode: Online
💰 Delegate Fee: FREE
🎓 Level: School & University
🌍 Open internationally

Delegates will take on individual characters aboard the Titanic and face an evolving crisis where every directive, alliance and decision can alter the course of events. Expect unexpected crisis updates, negotiations, strategy, chaos and plenty of opportunities to change history.

No extensive MUN experience? No problem. RUA MUN is designed to be welcoming to first-time delegates while remaining competitive and engaging for experienced MUNers.

🏆 Awards & Recognition

Outstanding delegates will be recognised with:

🥇 Best Delegate
🥈 Outstanding Delegate
🥉 Honourable Mention

All delegates who actively participate and meet the conference requirements will receive a Certificate of Participation.

Award winners will receive Award Certificates, and their achievements may also be featured on RUA MUN's official social media platforms.

At RUA, we aren't looking for the loudest voice in the room. We're looking for the ones who can think, adapt, negotiate and lead when everything changes.

One ship. One night. Countless decisions.
This time, history is in your hands.

    About the committee

RMS TITANIC: 11:40 — Crisis Committee 14 April 1912. North Atlantic Ocean. RMS Titanic is on her maiden voyage when nineteen individuals who should never have existed in the same place—or even the same time—find themselves aboard. None of them remembers boarding the ship. Yet according to Titanic's records, they have been passengers since Southampton. As the night progresses, strange inconsistencies begin to emerge. Clocks disagree. Restricted areas have been accessed. Objects appear where they shouldn't exist. And Titanic's wireless begins receiving messages that seem impossible. Then comes one warning: “DO NOT LET THE SHIP REACH 11:40 PM.” The delegates must investigate what is happening aboard the Titanic, navigate conflicting motives, form alliances, uncover hidden information and decide how far they are willing to go to change what history says is inevitable. In this fast-paced, character-based Crisis Committee, every action has a consequence—and not everyone aboard may want the same ending. The iceberg may be the least of your problems.
