RSCMUN 2026

RSCMUN (Coimbatore Model United Nations) is a student-led conference that brings together young minds from across Coimbatore to experience the world of diplomacy, international relations, and global decision-making. With the vision of creating a platform where every voice has the power to make an impact, RSCMUN encourages delegates to think critically, speak confidently, and work collaboratively to address some of the world’s most pressing challenges.

The conference will feature two committees: the Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC) and the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP). Delegates will represent different nations and be expected to understand their country's policies, interests, and international positions. Through formal debate, moderated caucuses, negotiations, and resolution-building, participants will experience the challenges of reaching meaningful international agreements.

DISEC will focus on issues surrounding international peace, security, disarmament, and emerging global threats, challenging delegates to balance national interests with the need for collective action.

UNEP will provide a platform to discuss pressing environmental concerns and explore practical, sustainable solutions through international cooperation.

Beyond competition, RSCMUN aims to develop public speaking, research, negotiation, leadership, and diplomatic skills. Whether you are an experienced MUN delegate or participating for the first time, RSCMUN is designed to be an engaging and challenging experience that encourages students to look beyond borders and understand the importance of international cooperation.
