RIMUN 2025

Dear MUNers,

The Secretariat of RIMUN 2025 is greatly pleased to officially invite you to the 18th edition of Rome International Model United Nations, which will take place in Rome at Liceo Statale “Farnesina” from March 28th to April 1st 2025.

RIMUN has represented an inclusive, challenging, and stimulating environment for over eighteen years, encouraging cooperation and coordination among all the participants.

Hundreds of young students have participated in previous editions of the conference, confronting themselves with the diplomatic operations of the United Nations.

Participants have come from all over the world, dealing and cooperating with a great variety of cultures, beliefs and viewpoints. Indeed, RIMUN has established a global network of exceptional schools around the whole world.

Thirteen years ago, RIMUN achieved such high professional standards that it was granted the THIMUN affiliation. We are currently employing THIMUN protocols and are delighted to be associated with this network.

Furthermore, the President of the Republic of Italy awarded RIMUN the Silver Plate for its outstanding educational and cultural value.

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, the 15th edition of RIMUN was a hybrid conference where most of our beloved foreign delegates participated online. Around 400 people attended the meeting from numerous different countries around the globe, keeping up the spirit of RIMUN during this critical period that we all had to face.

Fortunately, we are proud to report that the last two conferences of RIMUN reached not only pre-COVID levels, but had unprecedented attendances of over 600 people from the entire world.

This year, the Secretariat is pleased to announce that the Rome International Model United Nations is expecting even more in person cultural diversity and will be delighted to invite your school to join us to embrace it all at this year’s edition of RIMUN.
