PURMUN 2027

The Puerto Rico Model United Nations (PURMUN) is back for its second edition of its international conference, hosted in Palmas del Mar, Humacao, this upcoming March 19-20,2027!

PURMUN empowers middle and high school students to practice diplomacy while developing public speaking, problem-solving, debate, and ethical skills through an educational model of the United Nations and other similar scenarios. PURMUN II will continue our organization's mission of delivering a space where students can strengthen their voices and understanding of international affairs through our Model United Nations conference for middle to high school students.

This year, under the theme Beyond Borders: People, Movement & Change, PURMUN turns its attention to the movement of people and the world that movement creates. Across our committees, delegates will confront the challenges and opportunities created when borders are crossed, questioned, and redefined.
