About MUNSCR 2025
MUNSCR (Model United Nations for Successful Corean Reunification) is a four-day simulation of the United Nations Security Council, taking place from August 5th to August 8th, 2025, at the National Institute for Unification Education (๊ตญ๋ฆฝํต์ผ๊ต์ก์) in Seoul, South Korea. Organized by PSCORE (People for Successful Corean Reunification), an NGO on North Korean Human Right, in collaboration with the korean Ministry of Unification.
This yearโs conference will focus on North Korean human rights and the Responsibility to Protect (R2P), with two main topics discussed under the framework of the Security Council. Delegates will represent UN member states, engage in formal debates, draft resolutions, and explore the real-world challenges of international decision-making.
Participation is free of charge, with accommodation, meals, and a field trip to the DMZ included. MUNSCR 2025 offers a unique opportunity to build diplomatic skills, deepen knowledge of international affairs, and network with peers passionate about global justice and peace.
