MUNESCO - GYDCA / 2nd edition 🌐

On Friday 30 October, from 10 am to 6 pm, the second edition of MUNESCO – GYDCA invites you to an exceptional and unique experience: a Model United Nations held at UNESCO in Paris.

This time, delegates will sit on the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) to debate one of the defining questions of our time: Global cooperation and intelligent governance: establishing an international framework for the regulation of artificial intelligence.

🎓 AI is reshaping our economies, our democracies and the way we learn, yet no common global rules govern it. Should there be an international AI agency? How can innovation be balanced with safety, and national sovereignty with cooperation? How do we make sure no country is left behind? Representing a nation, you will defend its interests, build alliances, negotiate line by line and draft a resolution with your fellow delegates.

❗️As in our first edition, no prior MUN experience is required: we welcome motivated and committed delegates and chairs, whether this is your first conference or your tenth.

📅 → Registrations are open from 9 to 16 October on this page.

We are also looking for volunteers to join the team as photographers/videographers, international press, communications officers, coordinators, or in logistics and welcome: apply here: https://forms.gle/KwdG2muYBgR9EFoq7.
