The Lycée International de Londres Winston Churchill is located on the historic site of Brent Town Hall (originally Wembley Town Hall), a landmark Grade II listed building designed by Clifford Strange and opened in 1940.

Today, our campus spans two hectares, with roughly 12,000 square metres of renovated, accessible space, fully equipped to meet the demands of MUN. The blend of history and modernity offers a superb environment for conference work and debate.

Delegates will convene in the committee rooms, formerly part of the Town Hall’s governance suite. These are large, wooden-panelled, elegant rooms, full of natural light, with high ceilings and enough room for full committee simulations. The Council Chamber, once where council meetings were held, also serves to lend gravitas to top-level committee sessions. The boardroom, perched on the rooftop and open & bright, offers an inspiring space for smaller working groups or crisis simulations, with panoramic views and excellent daylight.

Our classrooms are fully technological: they feature video projectors, Apple TVs, and infrastructure for projecting images and documents from any device, laptops, tablets, phones, ensuring smooth running of all procedural work and presentations.

For plenary sessions and major events, participants will gather in the Paul Daisley Hall, a spacious gymnasium featuring a large stage and excellent facilities. During the conference, delegates will also be provided with meals in the canteen, located in the annex alongside our science, arts, and technology rooms.

Moreover, the buildings are surrounded by green spaces, which provide pleasant outdoor settings for breaks, informal discussions, or just rest between sessions. The entire premises are fully accessible via ramps and elevators.

The platform we use for LILMUN is MUN World, a professional debate system used by some of the largest Model United Nations conferences, including THIMUN affiliate events. It provides full digital management of debate, including speakers lists, motions, amendments, resolution drafting, voting, and messaging between delegates and chairs. This allows committees to function with precision and efficiency, ensuring that every stage of procedure runs smoothly.

From the Council Chamber and the Committee rooms to the rooftop Boardroom, and with each of the classrooms equipped with modern projection screens, debate is displayed live for all delegates to follow. The current resolution under debate, vote counts, and the speakers list appear directly on screen. Instead of repeatedly moving around to submit amendments, delegates can submit them directly on the platform, where they are instantly visible to the entire committee. This streamlines procedure, reduces hassle, and makes the flow of debate smoother, especially in a large conference setting.
