International Youth Alliance Model United Nations 2026 (IYAMUN 2026)

The International Youth Alliance Model United Nations (IYAMUN) 2026 is a premier youth-led diplomatic conference organized by the International Youth Alliance. The conference aims to bring together passionate young leaders, aspiring diplomats, and future policymakers from diverse backgrounds to engage in meaningful dialogue on pressing global challenges.

Through simulated sessions of international committees, delegates will represent countries, debate global issues, negotiate solutions, and draft resolutions in the spirit of diplomacy and cooperation. IYAMUN provides participants with a platform to develop critical skills such as public speaking, negotiation, policy analysis, and leadership while gaining deeper insight into international relations and global governance.

With committees such as the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) the conference will address contemporary global issues ranging from international peace and security to humanitarian crises.

IYAMUN 2026 seeks to empower youth to think critically, collaborate across cultures, and contribute innovative ideas toward building a more peaceful, inclusive, and sustainable world. By fostering diplomacy, debate, and global awareness, the conference strives to inspire the next generation of leaders committed to international cooperation and positive change.

    About the committee

The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) is the principal organ responsible for maintaining international peace and security. Within this committee, delegates represent member states and deliberate on urgent global conflicts, security threats, and geopolitical crises. Through diplomatic negotiation, strategic debate, and resolution drafting, delegates will attempt to craft solutions that prevent escalation and promote stability across regions. The UNSC committee at IYAMUN 2026 will simulate real-world diplomatic decision-making, including the dynamics of alliances, negotiations, and the role of permanent members with veto power. Delegates will be challenged to balance national interests with global responsibility while responding to rapidly evolving international crises.
