In lieu with the educational program that International Human Rights Council is applying; International Human Rights Council is honored to host you for The International News Agency for Human Rights - Model United Nations (INHR-MUN) in Beirut, Lebanon from the 5th till 10th of December 2025, for a transformative educational and cultural journey. As participants from diverse global backgrounds, you will engage in rigorous debates, deepen your understanding of human rights issues, and immerse yourself in Lebanon’s historical and scenic marvels.

Tour of Lebanon: Highlights
Immerse yourself in Lebanon’s storied landscapes and vibrant culture. The two-day guided tour includes:
Beirut Downtown: Walk through Martyrs’ Square. (Second day of the INHR- MUN conference)
Visit the National Museum. (Third day of the INHR- MUN conference)
Jeita Grotto: Marvel at Lebanon’s natural underground wonder.
Byblos: One of the world’s oldest cities; explore ancient ruins and the harbor.
Harissa & Jounieh: Take a cable car to the iconic Our Lady of Lebanon statue, with panoramic Mediterranean views.
All excursions are guided by English-speaking experts. Ample opportunity for group photos, cultural briefings, and local interactions is ensured.
Conference Structure and Committees
The INHR-MUN comprises three main committees:
International Human Rights Council (IHRC)
International News Agency for Human Rights (INHR)
International Delegates
International Staff members will lead the program
Each committee replicates authentic UN protocols and crisis management scenarios, overseen by experienced chairs and supported by resource staff, including a current/former UN and International Human Rights Council Officers, and International Staff members.
Role of IHRC and Official Staff: Teaching Materials & Workshops
IHRC, International Staff members, and UN staff member will lead core segments, providing:
Curated Teaching Materials: Manuals, videos, and case studies on human rights investigations, treaty interpretation, and negotiation.
Workshops: Interactive modules on UN mandate, Sustainable Development Goals, and diplomatic best practices.
Simulation Feedback: Direct critique and mentoring in real-time MUN sessions, enhancing negotiation and resolution drafting skills.
Delegate Preparation Guide
Pre-Arrival Pack: Country and topic backgrounders, UN procedural rules, and research tips.
Dress Code: Formal Dress and formal shoes for conference days; casual, comfortable clothing for tours.
Language & Accessibility: All sessions in English; translation support for major languages on request.
Tech Guidance: Bring personal laptops/tablets for document access and research.

Delegates will stay in partnered 4-star hotels in central Beirut (shared rooms with other international students).
Daily breakfast buffet and select meals in celebrated Lebanese restaurants.

Price: $400 for each delegate
This package includes:

2. Single Room Upgrade
Additional Cost: $300 on top of the Shared Room Package
For delegates seeking more privacy and comfort, we offer single room accommodations at the same premium hotel location. This upgrade includes all the benefits of the shared room package with the added convenience of your own private space to relax and unwind after a full day of activities.
3. Standalone Tour Option
Price: $100 (available only to conference registrants)
The tour will foster participants to exploring Lebanon’s rich cultural and natural treasures, this option lets you join the guided tour in addition attending the formal INHR-MUN sessions. It includes transportation, expert guides, meals during the tours, and entry tickets to major sites such as Jeita Grotto. This is ideal for delegates who want to experience Lebanon’s beauty alongside the conference community.
