About Indonesia Model United Nations 2025

Welcome to Indonesia Model United Nations 2025 (IMUN 2025) – the premier platform for youth diplomacy in Indonesia. As one of the most prominent MUN conferences in the country, IMUN brings together aspiring young diplomats from across the globe to engage in high-level debates, build intercultural understanding, and develop real-world policy solutions.

Organized under the grand theme "Redefining Global Cooperation: A Future-Led Diplomacy", IMUN 2025 aims to spark fresh perspectives and actionable change through multilateral collaboration among youth. Through the simulation of United Nations councils and other multilateral forums, delegates will be challenged to address pressing global issues using diplomacy, critical thinking, and negotiation skills.

Why IMUN 2025?

  • Flagship Youth Diplomacy Event: IMUN is one of Indonesia's leading academic simulations of the United Nations, bringing together hundreds of delegates, notable speakers, and national organizations in an intellectually dynamic atmosphere.
  • Bridging Youth with Global Discourse: IMUN 2025 focuses on creating a dialogue between young leaders and real-world institutions, cultivating a generation that is not only aware of global issues but actively working toward their solutions.
  • Professional and Cultural Excellence: Delegates will experience not only formal debate sessions but also networking events, cultural exchanges, and leadership development workshops that reflect Indonesia’s unique values of collaboration, diversity, and innovation.

What to Expect

  • Simulated Councils & Committees: Engage in diverse UN and regional bodies that tackle global challenges – from climate action to peacekeeping, humanitarian affairs, technology governance, and beyond.
  • Capacity-Building Programs: Join pre-conference training sessions, public speaking workshops, and policy writing clinics to strengthen your diplomatic skillset.
  • Youth Diplomacy Gala & Cultural Night: Celebrate the beauty of diversity and diplomacy through curated cultural showcases and formal networking opportunities.
  • Legacy of Impact: IMUN 2025 isn't just a conference — it's a movement to inspire youth action and leadership beyond the event itself.

Our Vision

To foster an inclusive and sustainable diplomatic ecosystem led by youth, IMUN 2025 envisions a global community of young changemakers who are bold, collaborative, and ready to redefine the future of international relations.
