IKSMUN 2026

Hosted at GASI International Knowledge School, IKSMUN 2026 is a three-day student-led Model United Nations conference that will bring together approximately 105 participants from schools across Libya for an immersive experience in diplomacy, leadership, and international cooperation.

Delegates will represent countries, organizations, or legal roles across five unique committees: the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), World Health Organization (WHO), United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), a Historical Committee, and a specialized committee, such as a Mock Trial or World Cup Committee. Each committee offers a distinct style of debate, allowing participants to tackle global challenges through negotiation, critical thinking, and collaborative problem-solving.

Alongside committee sessions, the International Press Corps will provide live coverage of the conference by reporting on debates, conducting interviews, publishing articles, producing multimedia content, and managing the conference's social media presence.

In addition to formal debate, IKSMUN 2026 will feature engaging activities throughout the conference, including networking sessions, interactive challenges, team-building activities, and social events, creating opportunities for delegates to connect, collaborate, and build lasting friendships beyond committee.
