AI Governance and Public Policy
Taking place on September 25, 2026, in Brussels, the Global Youth Summit 2026 brings together students and young leaders to explore one of the most important questions shaping our future: how should artificial intelligence be governed in education?
Centered on “AI Governance in Education: Shaping Policy and Governance in the Digital Age,” the conference gives participants the opportunity to learn, debate, connect, and contribute their own ideas through four key parts of the experience:
💡 Develop and pitch your ideas
Through the Policy Pitch Competition, participants will explore challenges surrounding AI and education and develop their own policy proposals. Students will have the opportunity to present their ideas and consider how solutions can move from discussion to real-world implementation.
🌐 Step into the world of diplomacy
The Model United Nations component will challenge participants to negotiate, debate, and collaborate on complex international issues. Delegates will represent different perspectives and work together to develop solutions through diplomacy and multilateral cooperation.
🎤 Hear from people shaping the conversation
The summit will feature speakers, expert discussions, and interactive sessions with professionals connected to international policy, technology, education, and governance—giving participants the chance to engage directly with the ideas and challenges shaping the future.
🤝 Explore what's next
The Career Fair will connect students with organizations, professionals, and future opportunities across fields including international affairs, technology, policy, business, and beyond.
Global Youth Summit 2026 is more than just a conference. It is a space for young people to develop ideas, engage with global challenges, build connections, and take part in the conversation shaping the future of AI and education.
