GIMUNC MMXXVI 2026

Dear Model UN Colleagues and Delegates,

We are thrilled to announce that the First Official Notice for the 2026 Gansu International Model United Nations Conference (GIMUNC 2026) has been released!  We cordially invite delegates from all backgrounds to join us in the historic "Golden City" of Lanzhou.

This year's conference is scheduled to take place from July 20 to July 23, 2026 (spanning 4 days and 3 nights).
The overarching theme of the conference is: "New Chapters on the Silk Road, Youth Innovating the Future: 'Belt and Road' Innovation and Youth Responsibility from a Global Perspective."

Academic Design & Committees
Our academic team has meticulously designed four distinct committees:

Chinese Historical Committee: UN Security Council (The 1946 London Conference)

Chinese General Committee: Expanded Meeting of the Arctic Council (Arctic Shipping Lanes and Ecological Protection)

English General Committee: UN Security Council (The Crisis of the Potential Closure of the Strait of Hormuz)

Our dais and secretariat feature outstanding MUNers from prestigious domestic and international institutions—including Columbia University, China Foreign Affairs University, Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, and Gansu Political Science and Law University—ensuring an exceptional level of academic quality.

Registration Fees & Deadlines
（We only accept the RMB, Chinese Yuan.)
Early Bird Special: $21/person (149 RMB)

Applicable to both individual delegates and delegations of 3 or more people.

Deadline: May 30, 2026, at 11:59 PM.

Regular Priority (Delegations): $22/person (159 RMB)

Regular Priority (Individuals): $25/person (179 RMB)

Final Registration Deadline: July 12, 2026, at 11:59 AM.

Conference Highlights
Guided by the Gansu UNESCO Association and co-organized by the Lanzhou Chengguan Western Returned Scholars Association, GIMUNC 2026 will run on our completely self-developed, fully digital MUN conference management system.  We are dedicated to providing all delegates with a professional, efficient, and deeply immersive conference experience.
