GIMUNC 2025

The Gansu International Model United Nations Conference 2025 (GIMUNC 2025) is a student-led international MUN conference hosted by the Gansu International Model United Nations Association. The conference will be held in Lanzhou, Gansu Province, from July 26th to 28th, 2025, welcoming over 150 high school delegates from across the country.

While GIMUNC inherits the legacy of earlier MUN initiatives in the region, 2024 marked the official relaunch and transformation of the organizing body. As the first official edition following this transformation, GIMUNC 2025 represents a fresh chapter—one rooted in tradition but driven by innovation, international vision, and academic excellence.

This year, the conference will feature five specialized committees, including Chinese, English, and bilingual sessions, covering a wide range of topics such as global security, environmental sustainability, and crisis response. The academic teams hail from top institutions such as Emory University, the University of Connecticut, the University of California, and the University of Leeds, ensuring a rich, globally informed experience for all delegates.

GIMUNC 2025 is committed to fostering leadership, diplomacy, and global citizenship among youth through immersive debate and collaboration. With a renewed structure and an inclusive platform, the conference offers a dynamic space for dialogue, creativity, and action on some of the world’s most pressing challenges.
