Where Excellence Meets Diplomacy
EMIYMUN is an online Model United Nations conference based in the United Arab Emirates, bringing together passionate school students and university and college students from across the UAE and beyond to engage in meaningful debate, diplomacy, and collaboration on some of the world’s most pressing issues.
Through a diverse range of committees, including international organizations, specialized agencies, political bodies, and unique crisis-based committees, delegates are given the opportunity to step into the roles of diplomats, government representatives, public figures, organizations, and other influential individuals. Each committee presents its own unique challenges and perspectives, encouraging delegates to engage with complex global issues through immersive and dynamic debate.
At EMIYMUN, delegates are expected to research their assigned roles, understand the positions they represent, participate actively in debate, and collaborate with others to develop creative, realistic, and impactful solutions. The conference aims to develop essential skills in public speaking, diplomacy, negotiation, critical thinking, research, and leadership.
As an online conference, EMIYMUN provides school and university/college students with the opportunity to connect and collaborate with individuals from different backgrounds and locations while participating in a fully immersive Model United Nations experience. Through engaging debate, strategic decision-making, and the consequences of inaction, delegates are challenged to consider the importance of their decisions and the impact they can have on the issues being discussed.
More than just a conference, EMIYMUN aims to create a platform where young individuals can express their perspectives, challenge ideas, engage in meaningful discussion, and develop the confidence and skills needed to become informed and capable future leaders.
