Fifth Session of the Annual Meetings of the Governing Body of the DMUN Foundation

Fifth Session of the Annual Meetings of the Governing Body of the DMUN Foundation

The Fifth Session of the Annual Meetings of the Governing Body of the DMUN Foundation marks a critical moment in the institutional life of the Foundation. As the supreme governing body, the Governing Body functions in a General Assembly-like format—serving as the highest decision-making forum where strategic direction, organizational priorities, and policy frameworks are collectively shaped and adopted.

This year’s session provides a platform for Member Organizations, individual members, observers, and civil society to engage in structured deliberations on the Foundation’s progress, future strategies, and global youth engagement priorities. Key agenda items include the review of annual reports, adoption of budgetary and programmatic resolutions, and endorsement of initiatives aligned with global sustainable development and multilateral cooperation.

This is not a Model UN Conference, but is a Conference on behalf of the DMUN Foundation.

Participation and Registration Categories:

  1. Organization Parties
Representatives of Member Organizations officially affiliated with the Foundation. Registration requires a Note Verbale from the Head of the Organization. Each Representative is entitled to one vote.
  2. Individual Parties
Members of the Foundation who have participated in at least one session of the Foundation’s programs or activities. Registration requires a certificate of participation or verifiable evidence. Each individual participant holds one vote.
  3. Observers
Representatives of accredited observer organizations, intergovernmental organizations, and country representatives—regardless of formal accreditation status. Observers may intervene on substantive items after Parties but are not granted voting rights. Registration requires a Note Verbale from the Head of Organization/Mission Head/Foreign Minister/Head of State/Head of Government, or its authorized representatives.
  4. Civil Society
Representatives of civil society organizations and youth stakeholders. Civil society participants may intervene on substantive items following Observers but do not hold voting rights.
