waltz through the corridors of time
On behalf of the Secretariat it is my honour to invite you to the General High School of Martyrdom of Dominiko in the First edition of Dominiko Model United Nations conference, to be hosted in the Village of Dominiko from 21rst to the 22nd of September 2024, with the theme of ''waltz through the corridors of time''. Noting with deep Historical Appreciation, the Domenikos Holocaust, which refers to the total destruction suffered by the village of Domenikos in Larissa on February 16-17, 1943, by the Italian occupying forces, who, after setting it on fire, then brutally executed 150 innocents resident. May they rest in peace. Having Such historical Significance in the village, it is only self explanatory as to why, appreciating our historical heritage would be an appropriate theme of our conference. Ones diplomatic abilities heavily rely on their ability to define who they truly are and what they represent. Thus we would like to invite to to join us, through this weekend in which collectively we will reflect on the past, present, and future, and to explore the interconnectedness of global events across different eras. The General High School of Martyrdom of Dominiko is dedicated to promoting critical thinking, diplomacy, and international cooperation among young minds. As such, we are confident that you will find our conference both intellectually stimulating and personally rewarding Just as we honor the memory of those who perished in the Domenikos Holocaust, we also seek to learn from the lessons of history and chart a path towards a more peaceful and prosperous world. So dear prospective Delegates and Student officers of DMNMUN, help us to Foster a more accepting society, and make a change in the world.
