Chapter 3: The Art Of Diplomacy

DHMUN III 2026

CHAPTER III — THE ART OF DIPLOMACY

12–15 November 2026 | Denning Hyderabad – Palm Campus

Welcome to the Third Edition of the Denning Hyderabad Model United Nations (DHMUN III 2026), a four-day diplomatic experience bringing together aspiring diplomats, young leaders, and passionate students from across Pakistan.

Organised by Denning Hyderabad, DHMUN III aims to provide an intellectually stimulating platform where delegates can engage with pressing international and national affairs, challenge conventional perspectives, negotiate complex diplomatic situations, and develop meaningful solutions to contemporary global challenges.

Whether you are an experienced MUN participant or attending your first conference, DHMUN III promises an engaging experience filled with diplomacy, competition, learning, and unforgettable memories.

COMMITTEES & AGENDAS

This edition features nine distinctive committees, offering a diverse range of national, international, legal, humanitarian, and security-related discussions.

Our committees include:

  • United Nations Security Council (UNSC)
  • United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC)
  • United Nations Women (UN Women)
  • Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC)
  • Social, Humanitarian and Cultural Committee (SOCHUM)
  • Special Political and Decolonization Committee (SPECPOL)
  • Pakistan National Assembly (PNA)
  • International Court of Justice (ICJ)
  • World War Z Special Committee (WWZ)

Each committee has been designed to challenge delegates through carefully curated agendas, dynamic debate, strategic negotiations, and realistic diplomatic simulations.

DISTINGUISHED CHAIRS & COMMITTEE DIRECTORS

DHMUN III brings together an exceptional panel of experienced chairs and committee directors, including individuals travelling all the way from Bahawalpur to be part of this edition.

A particular highlight is our UN Women Committee, featuring a Harvard MUN award-winning individual as its Committee Director, bringing valuable experience and an elevated standard of committee proceedings.

Our aim is to ensure that every delegate experiences professional moderation, informed guidance, challenging debate, and an intellectually rewarding committee experience.

AN EXPERIENCE BEYOND THE COMMITTEES

At DHMUN III, diplomacy does not end when committee sessions conclude. We believe a memorable conference should bring together intellectual engagement, cultural celebration, and social experiences.

Delegates can look forward to:

THE DHMUN III CARNIVAL — 13 NOVEMBER
An exciting carnival featuring food, live music, entertainment, performances, and an opportunity for delegates to unwind and connect.

SHAAM-E-SAMA — 14 NOVEMBER
An evening dedicated to the richness of traditional music and culture, featuring a special Qawwali experience.

THE DIPLOMATIC DINNER — 15 NOVEMBER
An exclusive formal dinner arranged for conference delegates, providing the perfect opportunity to celebrate the conference, build connections, and conclude four memorable days.

LIVE CONCERT FEATURING HAVI
Get ready for an unforgettable musical experience with a live performance by Havi, adding another dimension to the DHMUN III social experience.

THE SPECIAL JOINT CRISIS SESSION

One of the most anticipated highlights of this edition is the All United Nations Delegates Crisis Committee (AUNDCC).

Bringing together delegates from all United Nations committees, this special joint crisis session will challenge participants to coordinate their diplomatic positions and confront an unprecedented international crisis.

Under the theme of a united front against World War III, delegates will experience high-pressure negotiations, strategic decision-making, and inter-committee collaboration.

OUR LEGACY

With each edition, DHMUN continues to grow as a platform for intellectual development, leadership, and diplomatic engagement.

From our first edition to DHMUN III, our journey reflects our commitment to creating an increasingly ambitious and memorable Model United Nations experience.

We invite students from across Pakistan to take part in this chapter of our journey.

Four days. Nine committees. Countless perspectives. One unforgettable experience.

    About the committee

UNITED NATIONS SECURITY COUNCIL (UNSC) The United Nations Security Council stands at the forefront of international peace and security, entrusted with the responsibility of addressing threats to global stability, preventing armed conflicts, and maintaining international order. At DHMUN III 2026, the Security Council invites delegates to confront one of the most consequential and complex conflicts of the modern era: the Syrian Civil War. Delegates will assume the roles of representatives of Security Council member states, navigating competing geopolitical interests, diplomatic disagreements, humanitarian concerns, and questions of international law. From the exercise of veto powers to negotiations over resolutions, every decision will carry significant diplomatic implications. The committee will challenge participants to examine the responsibilities of the international community, the limits of collective security, the protection of civilian populations, and the pursuit of a sustainable political settlement. This committee is designed for delegates interested in international relations, geopolitics, strategic diplomacy, and high-level negotiations. The question is not merely how conflicts begin, but whether the international community possesses the political will to bring them to an end. Take your seat at the Security Council.
