AUDUN 2024

AUD'UN is the MUN organized by the student association Iségoria from Audencia.

The stimulating setting of this event encourages intellectual exchange between students, but also the debate and the presentation of different actors on burning topics of the international scene.

Beyond being a simple session of debates, AUD'UN aims to cultivate essential skills such as diplomacy, negotiation and eloquence.

The event is designed to provide participants with a unique platform where they can refine their understanding of the complexities of international relations, test and improve their negotiation and persuasion skills, and develop a network of valuable contacts with their peers and experts in the field, all in an atmosphere of constructive collaboration and competitiveness.

The different topics chosen this year are intended to address issues affecting many actors, with divergent and divisive opinions, but also issues for a sustainable future both at the environmental level, Human rights or peace in the world.

We have also chosen to offer committees in English to attract both international students from Audencia and external students accustomed to the diplomatic world and to participate in MUN.

We are very honoured to present this little known event within the French Business Schools.

(fees for students not from Audencia attending the conference are 20€, and the payment will be done once registered)

Guide to MUN Roles

Delegate

A student in a role of a delegate participates fully in all conference events and committee session proceedings. During committee sessions, a delegate represents an assigned country other than his country of nationality and takes part in debates and resolution writing. A delegate represents the official stance of their assigned country according to the committee topic in discussion. A delegate can apply individually or as part of a delegation

Head Delegate

A head delegate is a student participating fully in the conference as a delegate with the additional responsibility of accompanying and organizing their delegation.

Delegation

A delegation is a group of students from the same university, school, or MUN club wishing to attend the MUN together. A delegation consists of delegates and a faculty advisor or head delegate. Delegates part of a delegation may be distributed among different committees

Chairperson

A chairperson is a highly-skilled student in MUNs, they are responsible for the academic delivery of their assigned committee and overall committee session proceedings. Chairpersons are required to have several MUN experiences and a strong academic background.

AUD’UN est le MUN organisé par l'association étudiante Iségoria d'Audencia.

Le cadre stimulant de cet événement encourage l'échange intellectuel entre étudiants, mais aussi le débat et la mise en situation de différents acteurs sur des sujets brûlants de la scène internationale.

Au-delà d’être une simple session de débats, AUD’UN vise à cultiver des compétences essentielles telles que la diplomatie, la négociation et l'éloquence. 

L'événement est conçu pour offrir aux participants une plateforme unique où ils peuvent affiner leur compréhension des complexités des relations internationales, tester et améliorer leurs capacités de négociation et de persuasion, et développer un réseau de contacts précieux avec leurs pairs et des experts du domaine, tout cela dans une ambiance de collaboration et de compétitivité constructive.

Les différents sujets choisis cette année ont pour volonté d’aborder des sujets touchant de nombreux acteurs, ayant des avis divergents et clivants, mais aussi des sujets à enjeux pour un futur durable autant au niveau de l’environnement, que des droits de l’Homme ou encore la paix dans le monde. 

Nous avons de plus fait le choix de proposer des comités en anglais afin d’attirer à la fois des étudiants internationaux d’Audencia et des étudiants externes habitués au monde diplomatique et à participer à des MUN. 

Nous sommes très honorés de vous présenter cet événement peu connu au sein des Business School françaises.
