Aix Model United Nations 2021

AixONU, the diplomatic student society in Sciences Po Aix has the honour and joy to invite you to its twelfth edition of the AixMUN. Join us to take part in our thrilling debates from the 16^th to the 18^th of April 2021 online. 

The AixMUN is a great opportunity for you to develop your understanding of the United Nations’ diplomacy, to broaden your knowledge on burning issues and to meet amazing friends from elsewhere. 

Beginner or regular of the MUNs, you belong to the AixMUN. English or French speakers you are both our guests as our third committee will be completely held in French. 

The topic of the debate are : 

Human right Council (HRC) 

- Protests and freedoms in time of COVID-19. 

Economic and social Council (ECOSOC)

- Implication in COVID-19 for an ageing population: adapt and rethink ageing after the pandemic.

UNESCO (French Committee) 

- Les possibilités de consolidation de la paix à partir d’une ressource partagée : l’eau. 

We are deeply aware of the doubts that you may have about holding a MUN in distance, however we can assure you that as in-person, debates will be thrilling and immersive. The possibilities available with an online conference are beyond our imagination and we are ready to make the most out of it.
