Alleyn's School have been running Model United Nations conferences for several years now. AIMUN 2026 will be our third international conference. Our students are talented and confident orators and have been commended for their competent and inclusive chairing. This means this conference is suitable for both keen beginners as well as more experienced delegates. However, we do ask that pupils should be in UK Year 9 (13 years old) or above to take part. We have been lucky enough to welcome some outstanding key note speakers to our conferences over the years including:
- Baroness Shami Chakrabarti - Prominent human rights advocate and former Director of Liberty
- Sir Anthony Seldon: Renowned educationalist, historian, and former headmaster of top UK schools
- Sir Sherard Cowper-Coles: Distinguished former British diplomat and Middle East Specialist
- Sir Jim Knight: Education reform advocate and former UK Schools Minister specialising in digital learning
- Steve Crawshaw: Human rights activitist, author and former Amnesty International policy director
We have also had some great feedback from delegates including the following kind endorsement from one of the students who attended AIMUN 2024:
“We have all learnt so much about how MUN works, and this conference has certainly inspired most of us to sign up for more MUN conferences and has inspired many of us to investigate a career related to the UN… It was amazing to have the opportunity to connect with other students from all around the world who had similar interests to us”
Details including our fee will be available on our website from June, however please use this year as a guide. It is unlikely to deviate significantly from this.
