Cancer MUNers ( a.k.a crabs 🦀 in the Zodiac lingo) are known to have the most sophisticated personality, but the good news is that you can get the gist of it by looking at their favourite medium of communication: Twitter 🐦

In fact, they will be the ones setting up the google form for the gossip box before anyone else - sometimes even before the start of the first session. That’s how committed they are to the drama culture. And honestly, can anyone blame them for making the committee more entertaining?

We all love fellow delegates who keep in touch long after a MUN conference. Their caring and sensitive personality make Cancer MUNers the most likely to reach out and check in on their MUN friends when they least expect it! With one of those gentle souls, the life span of your committee’s group chat will increase by at least a few months after the conference!

With their legendary sensitivity comes the other side of the coin: moodiness. As caring and loving as Cancer MUNers can be, if they woke up and choose violence, nothing will stop them from pointing out all the ‘red flags’ around them. Thankfully, their moody side comes out only once on a full moon. But still, treat them right and think twice before making a bold remark or any type of joke that could rub them the wrong way. So if you’re still wondering who should fill the position of ‘safe person’ at your next conference, crabs are the way to go!

But the reason why everyone is obsessed with Cancer MUNers, the pinnacle of their loveability, has nothing to do with their gossiping skills or their top-notch sense of sarcasm. The reason why crabs often win the hearts of their committee stems from their unmatched self-awareness. Because Cancer MUNers are usually conscious of their own strengths and weaknesses, they can objectively evaluate themselves, manage their emotions (even when going through random phases of intense nostalgia), and understand how their fellow delegates and chairs perceive them.
