The proposed “JNVU Faculty of Law Model United Nations Conference 2026” is envisioned as a prestigious academic simulation conference that will bring together students from various universities and institutions to engage in constructive dialogue, diplomatic negotiations, and policy-oriented debates on pressing global issues. Organized under the aegis of the Faculty of Law, Jai Narain Vyas University, the conference aims to create an intellectually stimulating platform where participants can develop a deeper understanding of international relations, law, diplomacy, governance, and sustainable development.
The conference will simulate various committees of the United Nations and other international bodies, wherein participants will represent different countries and deliberate upon contemporary global challenges through formal debate, caucusing, negotiation, and resolution drafting. Delegates will be encouraged to adopt diplomatic approaches while addressing issues related to international peace and security, human rights, climate change, economic development, global justice, and humanitarian concerns.
The conference theme, “International Cooperation for Justice and Sustainable Peace,” reflects the growing need for collaborative global action in resolving conflicts, promoting equality, strengthening international legal frameworks, and ensuring sustainable development. Through this theme, the conference seeks to inspire young minds to critically analyze international issues and contribute innovative solutions rooted in diplomacy, legal reasoning, and multilateral cooperation.
Apart from committee sessions, the conference may include an inaugural ceremony, keynote addresses by distinguished academicians and legal professionals, training sessions, networking opportunities, cultural engagements, and an award ceremony recognizing outstanding delegates and contributors. The event is expected to significantly contribute to the academic culture of the Faculty of Law by promoting research, analytical thinking, leadership, teamwork, and effective communication skills among students.
The conference will also serve as a platform to enhance the institutional reputation of the Faculty of Law, encourage inter-university collaboration, and foster a spirit of youth participation in international affairs and policymaking.
