Recruiting mymun social media wizard 🧙‍♂️🧙
We are recruiting for someone to support our social media, especially Instagram.
Location: Remote
Type: Part-time, student-job (8 hours/ week)
Pay: 15€/ hour (480€/ month)
About us
mymun is a start-up from Germany. We are developing and operating software (mymun and MUN Command) to make Model United Nations conferences easy to host and accessible to participants. Our vision is that every student participates in at least one MUN in their student career. With approximately 300k registered users and 6k registered conferences we cater to a large global and young community that we engage with actively through social media.
We are looking for someone to join our social media team to supplement Bea’s video-content creation with a focus on creation of primarily static posts that are informative and fitting to the wider narrative of mymun’s communication.

About you
We do not expect you to check all the boxes. This is only who we thought we wanted before we met you!
- Fluent in English. German is not required. All further languages are great
- Participation in Model United Nations: The better you know the community, the better for the job
- Strong execution, detail-oriented, and accountability to get the job done
- A great eye for visual design and experience with Adobe Photoshop and/or Canva (or equivalent design tool)
- Understanding of audiences and dynamics on different social media platforms
Your job
- Conceptualizing creative and engaging content
- Coordinating with the team: With Bea on video content, with Jonas on promotional posts etc.
- Crafting static posts, planning, posting and promoting content, potentially replying to DMs
- You can, but don’t have to be in front of the camera

In the first round you apply through mymun (as a delegate with a click on the “Apply Now” button) with your CV and 3 questions:- Why do you want the job?
- How do you relate to MUN?
- What’s your previous, relevant experience? (feel free to add relevant links/ portfolio)
- Round - practical (27.09 - 06.10)
For those in the 2nd round we ask you to create one social media post that you would think could perform well on mymun social media. We know this is a big ask and therefore invite everyone who submits a post to an interview.
Additionally, we ask you for a short (max. 500 characters) reflection on the post you prepared and in a second question for your critical thoughts on the current mymun social media. - Round - interview (14.10 - 20.10)
Lastly, we will meet for an online interview of 20 minutes where we will speak about your submission from round two and any additional questions you and we might have.
