International Model Congress Paris (IMC Paris)

International Model Congress Paris (IMC Paris) is a political simulation bringing together ambitious students from across Paris and beyond to debate, negotiate, and experience American and international politics from the inside.

While the conference is centered around an immersive United States Congress simulation, IMC Paris goes beyond traditional Model United Nations. Delegates can choose from a diverse range of committee formats, each offering a different style of political debate and problem-solving. From congressional committees and legislative chambers to United Nations bodies, international organizations, crisis simulations, and other specialized political committees, IMC Paris offers something for every kind of delegate.

In the Congress simulation, participants step into the roles of senators, representatives, and political leaders, working through speeches, negotiations, amendments, coalition-building, and votes to turn their ideas into legislation. Other committees will place delegates in different political environments, challenging them to adapt their strategies and approach to diplomacy, policymaking, and crisis management.

IMC Paris is designed to be fast-paced, engaging, and realistic, with committees built around contemporary global and political issues. Delegates will develop practical skills in public speaking, negotiation, critical thinking, diplomacy, leadership, and policy-writing, while collaborating with students from different schools and backgrounds.
