Bridging Divides: Fostering Diplomacy in an Era of Global Polarisation

In a world of increasing interconnectivity, we remain divided. From the rise of populist global leaders and the fall of trust in established institutions to the polarising issues of the day, diplomatic resolutions face gridlock at every turn. Our conference calls for all nations bridge these divides and seek consensus and understanding through the committee debates - for it is only together that we can build a better tomorrow.

The 2nd Glasgow Model United Nations Conference is an academic simulation where participants play the role of diplomats from UN member states and attempt to solve real world issues using the policies and perspectives of their assigned country. The conference brings together university delegates from across the region to address global issues through formal debates within committees. Organised by the University of Glasgow Model United Nations Society, it will be hosted on our Main Gilmorehill Campus April 5th to 7th 2024.

All attendees must follow the GUSRC Events Code of Conduct: https://www.glasgowunisrc.org/policies/events-conduct/
