Inspire to Lead, Empower to Change.
The Delegate Preparation Conference is an official preparatory session designed to provide participants with a platform to introduce themselves, present their assigned topics, and demonstrate their understanding of the issues they will address during the upcoming Model United Nations (MUN) conference.
Each delegate will have the opportunity to deliver a brief self-introduction, present their assigned agenda topic, and outline their country’s position, key concerns, and proposed solutions. The session will encourage diplomatic discussion, constructive debate, and meaningful engagement among delegates.
The conference aims to strengthen delegates’ research, public speaking, diplomatic communication, and negotiation skills while ensuring they are well-prepared to actively participate in formal MUN proceedings.
The session will include:
- Delegate and country introductions
- Presentation of assigned agenda topics
- Country positions and policy perspectives
- Proposed solutions and diplomatic approaches
- Questions, discussion, and constructive feedback
- Guidance for effective MUN participation
This conference will serve as an important preparatory platform for delegates to build confidence, refine their positions, and engage with the principles and procedures of Model United Nations.
