Ain Ghazal is a 9,500-year-old archaeological site located in Jordan and is considered one of the oldest archaeological settlements in the world. It is also home to the oldest known life-sized statues ever discovered.
The concept behind AinGhazalMUN is to reconnect Jordanian youth with their national identity by highlighting Jordan’s rich historical narrative and cultural heritage. Through this initiative, the conference seeks to cultivate a deeper sense of belonging and appreciation among young people, emphasizing that Jordan is not merely a country with history, but a nation with a profound and enduring civilization that has shaped human development for thousands of years.
