The Youth Diplomacy Conference, taking place from December 6th to 8th in Rabat, Morocco, offers a unique platform for young leaders to engage in high-level discussions on global issues through realistic simulations of various legislative bodies. Over three days, delegates will have the chance to step into the roles of policymakers and diplomats as they participate in simulations of institutions such as the Moroccan Legislative Assembly, the French Parliament, the European Council, and the United Nations General Assembly. This immersive experience is designed to foster diplomacy, critical thinking, and cross-cultural collaboration, equipping participants with the skills to address complex international challenges while building lasting connections with peers from diverse backgrounds.

A General Assembly (GA) simulation that offers delegates a platform to engage in high-level diplomatic debate, representing the views of UN member states. In this simulation, participants will draft resolutions, collaborate with fellow delegates, and address pressing global issues such as peace and security, human rights, and sustainable development. Delegates will be tasked with finding consensus through negotiation, crafting policy proposals, and delivering speeches that reflect the positions of their assigned countries. This simulation encourages strategic thinking, diplomacy, and teamwork to simulate real-world UN decision-making processes.
In a simulation of the French Parliament, the deputies would play a key role in shaping legislation and influencing political decisions. They would have the opportunity to engage in passionate debates, amend bills, vigorously defend the interests of their constituents, and forge strategic alliances with other parties.
A Moroccan Legislative Assembly simulation in Model United Nations (MUN) allows delegates to step into the roles of members of the Moroccan Parliament. In this simulation, participants will debate and draft legislation on pressing national issues such as economic development, education reform, environmental policy, and social justice. Delegates will have the opportunity to amend proposed laws, advocate for their constituencies, and engage in strategic negotiations with fellow members to shape the country’s future. A European Council simulation brings together delegates to represent the heads of state or government of European Union (EU) member states. In this simulation, participants will tackle critical issues facing the EU, such as economic policies, climate change, migration, and foreign relations. Delegates will engage in negotiations, form alliances, and draft conclusions aimed at shaping the future of the European Union. The simulation emphasizes consensus-building, diplomacy, and the balancing of national interests with the collective goals of the EU, reflecting the real dynamics of European Council meetings.
