Welcome to the We Want You Model United Nations Conference!

We are a virtual Model UN conference that aims to bring together young leaders and bright minds from all around the world to engage in meaningful discussions and complex negotiations on global issues. 

WWYMUN features a total of 3 committees, in which delegates from all over the world have the opportunity to tackle numerous issues and propose innovative solutions, all whilst developing diplomatic skills:

• Special Committee on the Charter of the United Nations and on the Strengthening of the Role of the Organization (AD HOC)

Topic: Reforming the United Nations Security Council: Evaluating the Inclusion of New Permanent Members and the Veto Power

• United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) 

Topic: Addressing the challenges of corruption, notably by promoting integrity in law enforcement and criminal justice systems

• Social, Humanitarian and Cultural Committee (SOCHUM)

Topic: Exploring the influence of Sharia law on the suppression of religious freedom for both Muslims and non-Muslims

All committees offer awards for:

• Best Delegate x1
• Honorable Mention x1
• Best Position Paper x1

Position Papers are OPTIONAL, but only delegates who submit Position Papers may qualify for the Best Position Paper Award.
