Welcome to the World's Economic Powers Summit! This platform is designed for anyone who enjoys Model United Nations (MUN) and is eager to explore how global economic powers can shape the future. Whether you're a seasoned delegate or trying MUN for the first time, this forum will provide an exciting and enriching experience.

This committee will simulate an ECOSOC session infused with crises, creating dynamic challenges to test your diplomacy and problem-solving skills. A crisis scenario will be introduced mid-conference, requiring delegates to adapt and respond with innovative strategies, fostering active debate, informal discussions, and bloc formations to craft impactful resolutions.

Agendas

Day 1 Agenda: Examining the Role of Trump’s Presidency on the Global Economy
Analyzing the policies and decisions of Trump’s administration that have had a lasting impact on global trade, economic stability, and international cooperation.

Day 2 Agenda: Assessing the Impact of the Ukraine-Russia War on Global Economics
Exploring the repercussions of the ongoing conflict on energy markets, supply chains, and the economic alliances of nations.

Important Notes

Position Papers: Submission is optional but encouraged. An award will be given for the Best Position Paper award.
Country Allocation: Distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. We will try our best to meet your preferences, but allocations may vary based on availability.
