ThracingOnMIC is back in 2023!

Dear Delegates,

it is an honor to welcome you back for another unique experience at our annually conference. Thracing on MIC (Model International Crises) is a simulation conference on international organizations and crises, which is going to take place in the city of Komotini from the 6th to the 10th of December 2023.

The idea of the conference and the association itself was initiated by some students, who, driven by their love for diplomacy and international law, but also for Komotini itself, decided to create a group for fellow students with common interests.

To give you a taste of the academic background of Thracing on MIC, during the days of the conference, participating delegates are invited to play the role of a representative of a state entity in international committees and to manage a simulated crisis of international scope, using the rules of international law and their diplomatic skills. More specifically, an international crisis environment will be created, evolving in real time, which will be examined by each of the five committees to be simulated to the extent and from the point of view that its jurisdiction allows it. However, the most vital and fascinating characteristic of the conference that sets us apart from other similar ones are the crisis scenarios that occur in real-time during the days of the conference.

The General Topic of the Conference: A Changing World: Navigating Diplomatic Relations in the Evolving International Landscape.

Applications's fee is 65€.

We are looking forward to see you in Komotini in December!
