Youth for Justice, Rights and Change
The Saint Joseph’s School Model United Nations (SJSMUN) is a premier platform for young diplomats to explore global issues, engage in high-level debate, and develop leadership, negotiation, and policy-making skills. Organized by the United Youth Forum, SJSMUN brings together students to simulate the workings of the United Nations, providing an immersive experience in international diplomacy and governance.
Our committees replicate the structure, procedures, and challenges of real-world UN bodies, with dedicated chairs, rapporteurs, and international press corps ensuring a professional and dynamic environment. For SJSMUN 2025, the central agenda is “Feminism and Advancing Women’s Rights”, where delegates will debate policies, propose actionable solutions, and negotiate resolutions to advance gender equality worldwide.
Through moderated and unmoderated caucuses, crisis simulations, press interventions, and bloc diplomacy, SJSMUN encourages delegates to think critically, collaborate strategically, and experience the intensity of real-world political negotiation. By fostering dialogue, leadership, and advocacy, SJSMUN aspires to inspire the next generation of changemakers who will shape a fairer and more equitable global society.
