SADIQ MUN 2015

It is not just with honor, but with swelling pride that I welcome you all to the Sadiq Model United Nations 2015. Here is to three days of constant arguing in sessions, roaming around the grand Sadiq Public School, making new acquaintances and most importantly, being awed and inspired.

With the complete chain of command at our organization, the team has been working for months now and has organizers who are determined and resolute about making this event bigger than anticipated. We will be hosting six committee sessions, two of which are solely independent. The Pakistan National Assembly this year has been revamped, now nominating delegates, elected parliamentarians from all times. This year you’ll see Benazir Bhutto and Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto make alliances, or go head to head on one table.

As for the general committees, the world has strong issues and they need to be dealt with. All I’m capable of saying at this instant is it won’t be easy. The Organization and the Sadiq MUN Society has worked hard. And it has only been for you people. With my work last year managing media and promotions, it is indeed an honour to share the front seat and I strongly believe that my team will not disappoint you. Debates will be heated, forward blocs constant.

I’ll let you enter our gates as ordinary men and women, but when you leave, you’ll have among you statesmen, politicians, and diplomats, which is what Sadiq Public School does best.
