The Paradox of Progress

                                                     Invitation
Conference 2024

Dear Advisors and Colleagues,

We are writing to cordially invite you to the thirteenth session of the Platon School Model United Nations (PS-MUN) Conference, which is due to take place between Friday, March 1st to Sunday, March 3rd 2024 at the premises of Platon School in Athens, Greece.

The theme of this year’s conference will be “The Paradox of Progress”. Our world is better off today than it was at any point in history, but at the same time things have never been worse. We are faced with a contradiction that presents us with a seemingly unresolvable riddle. The source of our progress has become the source of our destruction.

Since its inception in 2011, PS-MUN has been committed to offering both a unique and innovative MUN experience to students not only from Greece, but from all corners of the world. As each year passes, we are more confident in offering this opportunity for students to engage in debates with a most inspiring and thought-provoking agenda, making MUN the best learning experience possible, as we believe it should be.

Over the last 12 years, it has been an honest pleasure to watch so many delegates from different backgrounds engage in fruitful debate while trying to find feasible solutions.

We once again look forward to welcoming a diverse and passionate group of delegates and their advisors, whether this will be your first PS-MUN or you have been participating for many years.

Registration

School Registration (Form I) will open as of Monday, July 17th 2023, and the deadline has been set for Friday, December 22nd, 2023.
