OstseeMUN 2014

Set in a vibrant border region OstseeMUN is conducted in the German-Danish Border Region of Nordschleswig- Sønderjylland, OstseeMUN offers four days of intense debates, talks and social event straddling two countries. You will have the opportunity to lead debates on pressing topics, shape young minds, hear talking from local and national experts on cross border issues as well as of course socialise and unwind in beautiful coastal nightlife! OstseeMUN is the world’s only cross border conference. It is a young vibrant conference which takes cross border issues to heart. Due to the geopolitical location of the conference and the importance of the cross-border cooperation for the region, the main theme of the conference and its motto – Acting Beyond Borders – it not just an important message. It is the principle on which we have founded this conference. For this reason the conference takes place with the cooperation of the Universiät Flensburg and the Sønderborg campus of the Syddansk Universitet. In the 5 committees, the UNSC, Geneva II, European Council, WHO and the historical London Conference of 1864 there will be place for 110 delegates.
