NU MUN 2019

NUMUN Conference is a two-day international university-level simulation of the committees of the UN and other international organizations, held annually at Nazarbayev University. Established in 2016, NUMUN Conference aims to increase students’ awareness of global issues, experience diplomacy in practice and broaden knowledge in international politics. At the end of the conference evaluation team, consisted of professors, will choose the best delegates and the best position papers of each committee.

Since 2016, our organization hosts an international conference NUMUN, which is one of the biggest MUN conferences in Kazakhstan. Last year, NUMUN 2018 brought together more than 90 students from all over Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan and India. True to the spirit of the United Nations, every year NUMUN strives to foster a constructive forum for open dialogue on a range of complex issues, including international peace and security, economic and social progress.

Located at the heart of Central Asia and in the crossroads of Asia and Europe, Astana is the perfect place to bring together delegates from different corners of the world. Astana is the capital city of Kazakhstan. It is home to many futuristic buildings, hotels and skyscrapers.
