We want to grow mymun, and it starts with you!

mymun is a student-led start-up from Germany. We are developing software to make hosting Model United Nations conferences easy and accessible. Our vision is for every student to participate in at least one MUN in their career.

Many European MUN conferences use mymun to manage their applications, payments, and assignments. This differs from North America, where much of the organization still relies on Google Sheets, manual email, and mailed-in checks. Our software could support organizers and make conferences more accessible and easier to find and apply for students.

We are looking for extraordinary MUNers, students or young professionals who have the drive to help conference organizers host the best conferences on the planet by using mymun and MUN Command.

Your role

We are only starting to build this position. A part of your task will be to define and shape your role.

• Work with MUN organizers around the world (focus on North America) to enable them to organize conferences easier with the right software tools
• Reach out to MUN conferences and listen to how they conduct applications. Share with them the experience and unique data of mymun to help them grow. Engage with them to discover how their conference can benefit from running applications through mymun and by using MUN Command
• Take feedback from organizers and play it back to the mymun team to improve the platform
• Automate tasks together with our dev team to make sure you can work efficiently

About you

We do not expect you to check all the boxes. This is only who we thought we wanted before we met you!

• You are driven, ambitious, and self-confident
• You have a passion for talking to new people and love to listen to them to understand the problems they might have
• Fluent in English in reading and writing. All further languages are great
• Participation in Model United Nations: The better you know the community, the easier the job will be for you
• No tech skills are required. Being able to coordinate emails, calendars, and video conferencing tools is what matters

What's in for you?

We are only starting to build this position. A part of your task will be to define and shape your role.

• Become a core part of a young and international team
• You decide when and where you work. Since you will be in regular contact with conferences, and we expect emails to be answered within 24-36 hours, it won't be possible to work the 8 hours off one day of the week only
• Base of 400€/ month based on 32hr/ month, plus conference success based component
• Job reference (e.g., for university internships)
