West Africa: Contemporary Issues and Challenges

The Model United Nations of Malmö - MUNmö, originally MUNOM - is a project started in 2013 by the Malmö Association of Foreign Affairs (UF Malmö), a politically and religiously independent, non-profit association that provides weekly lectures, debates, seminars and other events related to international politics and global awareness.

MUNmö 2015 will be our third edition, and will take place between the 19th and 22nd of November 2015 in Malmö, Sweden. This year's main theme is "West Africa: Contemporary Issues and Challenges" and delegates will have the choice between the following four committees: Security Council, DISEC, SOCHUM, and Human Rights Council.

In addition to entertaining debates, this four-day event will invite various guest speakers, host social events, as well as a magnificent Gala Dinner on Saturday. The delegate fee includes lunches and dinners throughout the conference, as well as entrance to all social events and parties.

The Early Bird application round will be open between the 1st and 25th of August 2015, for a fee of SEK 450 (€50), and the General application round will be open between the 1st of September and the 15th of October 2015, for a fee of SEK 550 (€60). Further, we will be looking for chairs between the 15th of July and 15th of August 2015.
