MLS MUN IV 2024

Welcome to MLSMUN IV.

Allow us to explain what exactly we will be doing in MLSMUN IV. Let us start with the sessions. After registering and being assigned their council, delegates will attend the first session on Sunday the 3rd of March. These sessions will continue until Wednesday the 6th of March on the MLS campus from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM. In these sessions, delegates will be trained on several soft skills such as presentation skills, research, public speaking , and improvisation. They will also be taught more about the United Nations, the council they are in and the topic being discussed. MLSMUN assures that these sessions will be extremely beneficial to the delegates when the conference comes, as it will help them perform better. Of course, all four sessions will include food and drink which is part of the fee.

As for the conference days, they will be on Friday the 8th of March and Saturday the 9th of March. This year in MLSMUN, each council promises to deliver enticing and heated debates that are sure to give delegates the experience they expect, allowing delegates to dive into pressing matters currently occurring in the world. Going bigger than we ever have, this year delegates will have the option of participating in 1 of 5 councils. The Councils this year will be:

International Court of Justice which will be discussing the Israeli and Palestinian conflict.

United Nations Security Council which will be discussing Illegal weapons trade.

Economic and Social Council which will be discussing Artificial Intelligence and Sustainable Development.

United Nations General Assembly which will be discussing immigration in Latin America.

United Nations Human Rights Council which will be discussing the genocide in Congo.
