Speak, propose, co-create.
The Mexico International Model of United Nations will be an event that will gather students from different parts of the world, from different contexts, and with diverse beliefs, to discuss, propose and co-create solutions to address the major issues that we face as a society today.
Acknowledging and recognizing the critical situation of the climate crisis that is taking over the world, the High Secretariat of MEXIMUN 2023 has designed a robust action plan that aims to reduce the environmental impact of the conference to promote the action toward the UN Sustainable Development Goals. For achieving that, all the committees of this simulation will be somehow related to the 2030 Agenda.
During the conference, we will host sessions with decision-makers, politicians, and ambassadors of different nations, so that the delegates will be able to share their proposals, learn how the work of a real ambassador is, and that they get to know how the UN works. Additionally, for some of the committees, their resolution papers will be sent to the official commission, and/or will be presented by the delegates to a real member/representative of the said commission or organ.
