Founded in 2012 and located in the heritage city of Yogyakarta, Indonesia, JOINMUN is intended to educate and promote global peace and give the experience to enjoy the city of Yogyakarta itself, with its mesmerizing and beautiful culture. As the first international Model United Nations conference in Yogyakarta, JOINMUN is aiming to share the tradition of hospitality of Yogyakarta and also its culture across the globe, as well as preparing its delegates to be world leaders of tomorrow.
