Terms and Conditions for INVMUN 2024

1. General Provisions

1.1. INVMUN 2024 (hereinafter referred to as "the Conference") is organized by Shivanshu Yadav and will be conducted online.

1.2. By registering for and participating in the Conference, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

1.3. These Terms and Conditions are subject to change without prior notice. Participants are advised to review these Terms periodically.

 

2. Registration

2.1. Participants must complete the registration process to attend the Conference.

2.2. All information provided during registration must be accurate and up-to-date.

 

3. Code of Conduct

3.1. Respectful Communication: Participants are expected to conduct themselves respectfully during all interactions, including online chat, verbal communication, and written submissions. Disrespectful behavior, personal attacks, or offensive language towards any other participant will not be tolerated.

3.2. No Harassment or Discrimination: Harassment, discrimination, or any form of inappropriate behavior based on race, gender, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, or disability is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate removal from the Conference.

3.3. Professional Behavior: Delegates must maintain a professional demeanor at all times, treating all fellow delegates, chairs, and organizers with courtesy. Participants should aim to foster a positive and inclusive environment.

3.4. Western Formal Dress Code: Delegates must adhere to a formal dress code, wearing Western formals throughout the committee sessions. This includes blazers, suits, ties, formal dresses, or equivalent attire.

3.5. Active Participation: Delegates are expected to actively participate in all committee sessions, contributing to discussions and debates. Passive participation or disengagement may be noted by the chairs and affect the delegate’s evaluation.

3.6. Camera Requirement: Delegates are required to keep their cameras on throughout the committee sessions for proper engagement and monitoring. Failure to do so may result in warnings or removal from the session.

3.7. Use of Language: All committee sessions will be conducted in English, and delegates should make every effort to communicate clearly and effectively in the language.

3.8. No Disruptive Behavior: Delegates should not engage in disruptive behavior such as interrupting speakers, using distracting backgrounds or virtual effects, or engaging in off-topic conversations during sessions.

3.9. Confidentiality: Participants are expected to respect the confidentiality of discussions within committees and should not record, share, or disseminate any part of the proceedings without prior written consent from the organizers.

3.10. Technology Etiquette: Delegates should ensure their microphones are muted when not speaking to avoid background noise. Participants must also ensure a stable internet connection and have a quiet environment during sessions to maintain the decorum of the Conference.

3.11. Adherence to Chair Instructions: Delegates must follow the instructions given by the committee chairs at all times. This includes procedural rules, speaking time limits, and any adjustments made during the sessions.

3.12. Plagiarism and Honesty: All delegates must maintain honesty in their work. Plagiarism of speeches or position papers will not be tolerated and may result in disqualification.

 

4. Position Papers

4.1. Delegates are required to submit position papers as part of their preparation for the Conference.

4.2. Position papers must be the original work of the delegate and should not be generated by any artificial intelligence tools or software.

4.3. Plagiarism or AI-generated content in position papers may result in disqualification from the Conference.

 

5. Responsibilities of Participants

5.1. Participants are responsible for their own internet connectivity and technical setup required to attend the online Conference.

5.2. Participants must adhere to the schedule and guidelines provided by the organizers.

5.3. Delegates are expected to prepare adequately for their roles in the committees.

 

6. Intellectual Property

6.1. Any materials provided by the organizers, including but not limited to documents, presentations, and recordings, remain the intellectual property of INVMUN 2024.

6.2. Participants may not reproduce or distribute any Conference materials without prior written consent from the organizers.

 

7. Acceptance of Terms

7.1. By registering for INVMUN 2024, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
