In order to fully implement the Party's educational policy, thoroughly implement the spirit of the CPC Central Committee and The State Council's "China's Education Modernization 2035", strengthen the cultivation of students' practical ability, cooperation ability and innovation ability, implement the requirements of students' core quality development, promote heuristic, inquiry, participatory, cooperative and other teaching methods, and cultivate students' innovative spirit and practical ability, We should start with basic education and strive to cultivate more modern talents with an international perspective, familiar with international rules and able to participate in international affairs and international competition.

The Model United Nations is a good promotion program. Since the launch of the Model United Nations for Youth in Henan Province in 2010, 14 provincial summits, one international summit and eight Model United Nations debates have been successfully held. Hundreds of schools in Zhengzhou, Luoyang Xinxiang, Luohe, Pingdingshan, Ruzhou, Jiaozuo, Shangqiu, Zhumadian and other places have formed their own model United communities or representative teams. Our province has selected more than 800 outstanding students to participate in the International Model United Nations Summit held in New York, Geneva and Rome. At the same time, corresponding teacher training has been organized for several years, which has effectively improved the English teaching quality and activity organization ability of MUN teachers.

In order to train excellent representatives of the Model United Nations and effectively exercise and improve young students' English eloquence and critical thinking ability, the ninth Henan Province Youth Model United Nations Debate will be held with the theme of "Expressing China's voice, providing China's solutions, demonstrating China's wisdom" and "Showing a credible, lovely and respectable image of China". It is hoped that all localities and schools will continue to do a good job in organizing Model United Nations youth activities in light of the actual situation. All project schools and schools to carry out activities should constantly learn from the international advanced educational concepts and experience, promote the reform and development of education in our province, enhance the international status and influence of education and competitiveness of our province, in order to meet the requirements of national economic development for personnel training.
