A Model United Nations (MUN) conference is an academic simulation of the United Nations where students play the roles of delegates from different nations. Each delegate is assigned to a specific committee such as UNWOMEN, UNICEF, UNHCR etc. Delegates debate various real-world issues and come up with policies to solve them.
In this era of globalization, it is crucial that our students have a global awareness of current world issues. Therefore, participating in a MUN event may create significant impacts on students' knowledge about global issues as they conduct research and learn about topics they may not have encountered elsewhere, in an environment of teamwork and fellowship.
The theme for this yearβs conference is βAmending and Enhancing the Global Economyβ
