    About the committee

Welcome to the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) committee. Here, we'll be tackling the big problem of plastic pollution. Our job is to figure out how to deal with all the plastic waste that's causing trouble for our planet. The topics include plastic pollution on land, plastic pollution on water, and microplastics. You can choose to cover all three or only focus on one or two. With respect to the topics being very intertwined, due to this being a single-day conference, it is not advisable to cover multiple. There is no background guide, simply research your country, how your country would approach the topics and information about the topics.
